Sr. UX Designer, developer, gamer, foodie, pet servant, periodic adventurer, aro/ace, INTJ, Gen-X, and all-around geek. She/they
I started out in the 1990s as a web hobbyist; making web sites for myself, friends, and family. I enjoyed it so much, I decided to make it my career.
For over ten years, I ran my own fanfiction archive called Lunaescence Archives. (A play on words to honor my extremely bright border collie, Luna.) This is where I began my exploration into user experience — by attempting to make my site as easy-to-understand and foolproof as possible. Sadly, I ran out of time to work on it and passed it off to a new generation and it is now defunct.
During the economic downturn of the mid to late 2000s, I decided to go to school to prove I could do as I said. From there, I moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth Area in 2009. My clients have included companies in aerospace, hospitality, finance, beauty, and fashion.
I love what I do!

Work Experience
Fossil Group, Inc
Senior UX Designer
Jan 2018 – Present
As a Sr. UX Designer, I created wireframes, designed icons, written documentation, and conducted various kinds of research and testing.
I conducted user testing both live and over video calls, as well as conducted accessibility testing with blind consumers.
Due to budgetary constraints, I took over management of a CDN network from Adobe called Scene7 / Dynamic Media until a team could be formed. Here, I managed video uploads and the creation of dynamic previews of monogramming functions. I wrote extensive documentation around this system to help others use Scene7/Dynamic Media.
